Progression toward a CHAOS EVENT
A modular 0–100 activity and fee progression score computed from the observed eligible token sample.
Components
The backend combines seven normalized inputs with configurable weights. Each market input is calculated per token before the global median is taken, limiting domination by a single large token.
- Fees: progress toward the current minimum balance or unusual balance growth; absolute sufficiency is checked separately.
- Volume: absolute rolling 24-hour volume change from each token's recent baseline.
- Market cap: relative change, without rewarding absolute token size.
- Liquidity: absolute selected-pair USD liquidity change from each token's baseline.
- Holders: holder-count change when a reliable source is available.
- Transactions: absolute rolling buy-plus-sell count change.
- Price: normalized return volatility and current one-hour movement.
Readiness and freshness
Missing data remains null and its weight is redistributed among available components. The calculation requires the configured minimum pool and available-weight coverage. DEX Screener currently provides no reliable holder count, so that component remains unavailable until a trusted source is configured.
Provider failures mark degradation; aged market or fee observations become stale. Incomplete, degraded or stale evaluations cannot mark a distribution ready. Missing data is never presented as a fabricated zero measurement.
The 100% threshold
The index can reach 100 through saturated activity, but `distributionReady` also requires the observed fee-wallet balance to meet the absolute current minimum. Rapid percentage growth from a small balance does not bypass that safety rule.
A complete and reliable ready evaluation records one informational CHAOS_EVENT_TRIGGERED entry. A persisted latch prevents duplicates and rearms below the configured threshold. The event cannot authorize or execute a transfer, and the score is not a price forecast.
